The non-sterile Swann-Morton Disposable Post Mortem Scalpel features an easily removable protective cap to protect the cutting edge until the start of the procedure. The end user benefits from the added convenience of not having to attach the blade to the handle and being able to safely dispose of the scalpel in a designated sharps container after the procedure.
Designed for "dirty" and "infectious" cases or for use by mobile forensic teams, the Disposable Post Mortem Scalpel is available with the standard PM40 blade attached to a distinctive blue handle and packaged in units of 5.
