We supply all sizes of plaster bandage. It consists of gauze bandage and plaster powder. We have a very large stock of every size in our warehouse. What is plaster bandage?

Plaster bandage is a bandage, often made of linen or cotton, provided with a layer of plaster. Plaster bandage is soft and flexible until it has been wetted. After that, the plaster bandage will dry and harden.

By wetting the plaster bandage, it can be easily applied to different surfaces.

After wetting the plaster bandage, it can be applied to the surface and shaped by hand, with spatels or forceps. After approx. 15-30 minutes, the plaster has hardened and can be carefully removed from the surface. After 48 hours, the plaster bandage is completely hardened.

What can you do with plaster bandage?

Plaster bandage is mainly used in the medical world for immobilizing body parts in the event of a bone fracture or sprain. Because the fracture is in a hardened shell, it cannot move, which makes the recovery time significantly shorter.

Plaster bandage is also often used in the cultural sector for making sculptures.

A frame is covered with the plaster bandage and shaped with forceps or spatels. What remains is a hardened plaster figure.

In addition, plaster bandage can be used to make, for example, a plaster mask. A plaster mask is a fun and cheap idea for a costume that is easy to make. By applying the wet plaster bandage to the head, a perfect mask is formed. Do pay attention to the duration, however (after 15-30 minutes you can remove the plaster bandage from the face).
