Types of pedicure drill bits

The Busch collection consists of many different types of drill bits. All drill bits are made of high-quality materials such as diamond, ceramic and stainless steel.

The grit size of the diamond drill bits is indicated by different colored rings under the head of the drill bit. The coarsest drill bits are for removing thicker layers of calluses, while the finest drill bits are perfect for polishing nails and treating cuticles. Due to the different sizes and shapes, each drill bit has its own application on skin or nails.

The RPM is also important for the proper operation of the drill bit. Generally, the coarser the drill bit, the lower the RPM should be to allow the drill bit to do its job properly. The recommended RPM is stated if it is known for the drill bit in question. 

Maintenance and cleaning of pedicure drill bits

It is easy to store the drill bits in a drill bit stand or drill bit stand. This makes them easy to access from the work table and keeps the drill bits clean because the stand can be closed with a lid. 

After use, it is important that the drill bit is properly cleaned and disinfected. The drill bits can be cleaned after use with a drill bit brush. Make sure that as much of the abraded material as possible is removed from the drill bit. If you are not in a position to clean the drill bits immediately (for example, as a mobile pedicure provider), it can be easy to have a cleaning container for the used drill bits. In an ultrasonic cleaner, all the "dirty" material is vibrated loose from the drill bit.

The drill bits can then be disinfected in 70% alcohol or in an autoclave.
