Isopropyl alcohol has a large number of industrial and household applications. Due to its rapid evaporation and good grease-dissolving properties, it has a wide range of applications:
- A commonly used household solvent, for example for cleaning eyeglass lenses, car windows, racing bikes, etc.
- As a pre-treatment when applying sealant
