Klinion NW Compress sterile is a nonwoven compress that is suitable for use as a wound cover. The NW Compres is also suitable for cleaning wounds and wound edges. An NW Compres adheres less quickly to the wound than an HG Compres. When firmness of the compress is important, a hydrophilic gauze compress is preferable to a non-woven compress. Klinion HG Compres is then a good alternative. Available in 4 and 8 layers (8 layers is Klinion NW Extra Compres) and in various sizes
