Opraclean dressings support wound cleansing by absorbing wound exudate, cell debris and bacteria. Even deep wounds and wound cavities can be tamponed very well with Opraclean. At the same time, the dressings impregnated with iodoform have an antimicrobial effect*. In contact with the wound secretion, the iodoform decomposes and small amounts of iodine are continuously released from the dressing material. A further advantage: Iodine-resistant pathogens are not known.
